nuVerve is an innovative SaaS platform designed to structure and label scientific data, enabling automatic analysis and collaborative reporting. It streamlines data workflows for researchers by combining usability with powerful analytics tools.
Brief
The goal was to create a modern alternative to traditional ELN (Electronic Lab Notebooks) and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) software. This involved defining a strong product positioning and crafting a cohesive visual identity that helps the company stand out in a competitive market.
My Role & Contributions
As the Lead UI/UX Designer, I was responsible for the end-to-end design process, including:
- Conducting user interviews to gather insights and creating flowcharts to map optimal user journeys across various scientific workflows
- Designing wireframes and interactive prototypes in Figma to validate core features and facilitate collaboration with product and development teams
- Developing a comprehensive a brand identity and design system, including reusable UI components such as buttons, menus, and icons
